you can see just 2 statuses for the sales order, “Pending Approval” and “Pending Fulfillment”. I’d like to create more status for that transaction. Is that possible?

Upon checking, this is not yet possible and there’s an Enhancement filed for this,. It is logged as 166425 Ability to add Sales Order statuses.
