Scenario
Customers want to move the Quantity of an item from location A into location B. This is not allowing the user as the existing location has the Use Bin’s function on and these item pieces are not in a bin.
Solution
In order to transfer items between the A and B Locations, we will have to first move the required units from Location to a Bin using Bin Put-Away Worksheet since location A is a “Use Bins” enabled location.
Then we can transfer it to location B by Inventory Transfer.
Otherwise, we have to zero-out/reduce the quantity on location A using an Inventory Worksheet and then we can adjust the same quantity to location B. Here we have to make sure the value field or unit cost is also taken to the new location
The first option will be much preferable
