Proposal For Updates In Wishlist Page

Proposal Summary 

This proposal covers both the functional and UI development for Wishlist page in SCA webstore for Point Australia website. 

Requirement   

1. Remove star rating. Show barcode at the same location. 

2. Quantity field need to be editable, same as PLP or cart 

3. Remove priority and added on 

4. Edit button – Replace it with ADD To Cart button. (Remove the functionality. Implement add to cart option in each line) 

5. Move button – Replace it with Remove button. (Remove move functionality. Rename as remove and implement the functionality. While clicking on remove button show pop. “Do you want to remove the item” Show “yes” and “no” option. 

6. Add items to cart button – Rename as “Add selected items to the cart”. Align to left. 

7. Select all – Show above the line. 

8. Select box – Increase the size. 

9. Remove the “Remove Items” option at top dropdown list. 

Our Solution 

1. Replace star rating with Barcode 

                  >  The star rating field will be changed and replaced with a unique Barcode for each item 

       2.  Editable quantity Field 

                 >  The quantity for each line item will be editable by adding (with + icon), subtracting( with – icon)or changing (input field at the middle). 
> Need to add 3 data-actions by customization

       3. The priority and added on fields will be hidden 

       4. Add to Cart button  

               > Edit button will be replaced with add To Cart button and add to cart function will be implemented by customisation. 
              > After adding the item to cart successful message will be displayed and the item will be removed from Wishlist. 

        5. Remove Button 

               > The move button will be replaced with Remove button.
> On clicking the Remove button, a popup will be showed with the message “Do you want to remove the item” Show “yes” and “no” option. 

         6. Add items to cart button 

                > The button text will be renamed as “Add selected items to the cart” and moved to left side 

         7. Select All  

                  > The select all text will move to top of the line. 

          8. Select Box 

                    > The size of the checkbox will increase to the appropriate size 

          9.  Remove Items dropdown button 

                   > The “Remove Items” option at top dropdown list will be removed.

Assumption 

> The value of the barcode is assumed to be from the item record and is unique to each item.
