Connect With SFTP Server Using Cyber Duck

Scenario:


Clien needs to connect with there SFTP server using cyber duck to download some files.

  1. Download and open the Cyberduck client.
  2. Choose Open Connection.
  3. In the Open Connection dialog box, choose SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol).
  4. For Server, enter your server endpoint.
  5. For Port number, enter 22 for SFTP.
  6. For Username, enter the username
  7. For Password, leave blank (We use Public/Private keys for auth)
  8. For SSH Private Key, select the SSH private key by selecting the dropdown and clicking “choose”. Navigate to where you have stored the private key file and select it. (shared separately).
  9. Choose Connect.
