Create a SuiteAnalytics Workbook to View Time-Off Plans and Associated Time-Off Rules

report to review existing Time-Off Plans and their associated Time-off Rules setup.

  1. Click Analytics 
    Note: Use Administrator role. 
  2. Click Datasets
  3. Click New Dataset 
  4. Search record types: Enter Time-Off Plan
  5. Record Type: Click Time-Off Plan
  6. Data Grid:
    1. Click menu dots on the Name column
    2. Click Rename
    3. Custom: Enter Time-Off Plan
  7. Records list: Click the arrow before Time-off Rule to expand
  8. Click Time-Off Type
  9. Fields list: Click and drag Inactive to criteria builder 
    1. Click No
    2. Click Apply
  10. Records list: Click Time-Off Rule
  11. Fields list:
    Note: Click and drag the following to the Data Grid next to Time-Off Plan column.
    1. Time-Off Type
    2. Minimum Tenure
    3. Minimum Tenure Unit
    4. Accrues based on
    5. Accrual Frequency
    6. Accrual Type
    7. Entitlement
    8. Entitlement Unit
    9. Opening Balance for New Employees
    10. Allow Employees to Carry Over unused Time-Off
    11. Maximum Carryover
    12. Expire Unused Carryover 
  12. Upper Right corner: Click Save 
  13. Save Dataset As: 
    1. Enter a Dataset name
      Example: Time-Off Plans and Associated Time-Off Rules
    2. Enter a Description for this Dataset (Optional) 
    3. Click Save
  14. Click Create New Workbook 
  15. Choose visualization type for current dataset: Click Pivot
  16. Click and drop the following Dataset Fields to the Rows’ Drop fields in Layout column: 
    1. Time-Off Plan
    2. Time-Off Type
    3. Minimum Tenure
    4. Minimum Tenure Unit
    5. Accrues based on
    6. Accrual Frequency
    7. Accrual Type
    8. Entitlement
    9. Entitlement Unit
    10. Opening Balance for New Employees
    11. Allow Employees to Carry Over unused Time-Off
    12. Maximum Carryover
    13. Expire Unused Carryover 
  17. Upper left corner: Click Refresh icon
  18. Pivot 1 tab: Click twice to rename (Optional)
  19. Upper Right corner: Click Save 
  20. Save Workbook As: 
    1. Enter a Workbook name
      Example: Time-Off Plans and Associated Time-Off Rules
    2. Enter a Description for this Workbook (Optional) 
  21. Click Save
