Scenario
Restrict the employees from seeing other employees expense report for Approval and they need to view only their subordinates Expense reports or the same department’s Expense Report.
Solution
- Go to the User role by Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
- Select the role which you need to update.
- Click Edit
- Check Restrict Time and Expenses box.
- Click save.

‘Restrict Time and Expenses’ preference when enabled will allow employees with this role to only view their own expense reports and time transactions as well as for their subordinates.
