Issue when adding matrix item to cart

When a shopper adds a Matrix Item to the cart, an error “Sorry, there is a problem with this Item and can not be purchased at this time. Please check back later.” will pop-up and item cannot be added. One of the possible causes of the issue is a misconfiguration of the Transaction Item Options associated for the Matrix Item.
So after configuring the item options properly, this issue can be solved.

  1. Verify the item option associated to the Matrix Item
  2. Navigate to Customization Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Item Options
  3. Click on the Transaction Item Options verified in Step 1
  4. Click on Sourcing & Filtering sub tab
  5. Populate Source List and Source From fields correctly
  6. Save
