To create a custom field for Brand. customization –> Lists, Records, & Fields –> Item Fields –> New
Then fill all the neccessary fields like Label, ID and all then save it.
you can go to Customization –> Lists, Records, & Fields –> Item Fields to chech whether the Brand filed is created or not.
Now go to commerce –> Website –> Website List, Select the site and click Edit then select the Field sets subtab
Add the Brand custom field to every Field set available and click save.
Go to commerce –> Websites –> Configuration, then choose the site and domain click configure.
click the shopping catalog and select the Facets subtab then fill the necessary fields to add the Brand custItem to add and click save.
Now search the product names in the nestsuite search the open the product and click the custom subtab and click edit button then add the brand name of the product and click save or update matrix.
So now visit the domain and go to the shopping tab. so here you will be able to see the Brand item field as the facet option in the site.
