Scenario
The error “You have entered an Invalid Field Value XXX for the following field: picker” is encountered when a user without any warehouse role is trying to pick an item.
Employee: Employee A
Access: Administrator role only
Here are the steps to reproduce:
1. Using RF Mobile > navigate to Warehouse > Picking > Single Order Picking > Sales Order
2. Enter the Sales Order Number
3. Select Pick task
Result:
The error “You have entered an Invalid Field Value XXX for the following field: picker.” will be encountered.
Solution
To resolve the error, we need to make sure that user has a Warehouse role.
In case Employee A do not have warehouse, add access in their employee record.
1 Using Administrator role, navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees
2. Edit Employee A
3. Under Access tab, mark Give Access checkbox
4. In Roles sub tab, add Warehouse role
Note: You can add any Warehouse role like Warehouse Manager or custom role for pickers
