Scenario:
The renamed record displays the original record name in all user’s Netsuite accounts.
Reason:
The Renaming of Records/ Transaction affects only the accounts with the same Language preference set. Hence when the Language configured in Set Preferences is different, the renaming of one account will not implicate the other.
Solution:
If we want all the accounts to reflect the renaming, either set the language as the same in all accounts, or
We need to repeat the naming process for each account in a different language.
Name changes made in the Rename Records/Transactions page apply to the Language preference we currently have set at Home > Set Preferences only, not to every language. We need to reset our Language preference to each language that our account uses and repeat the renaming process. If we do not rename records and transactions with a language set as the preference, users in our account will continue to see the original Record/Transaction names when they set that language as their preference.
