proposal to add Validation for confirm checkbox before add to cart, Add to cart button will be made not to submit without checking checkbox when using personalisation and user should be able to add to cart when not using personalisation
Requirement
In PDP page for liquid pixel item, we have a confirm checkbox to check before add to cart. We can proceed to add to cart only after checking that check box.
Needs to add a validation message which should be displayed if a user clicks on the add to cart button without checking the check box.
Our solution
It is possible to display a validation message when a user clicks add to cart without checking “I confirm that the information entered is correct” check box in PDP page for liquid pixel item, a sample screenshot is added below
Currently when the check box is not checked, add to cart button will be disabled. After the new update when add to cart button is clicked without checking the check box, a validation message will be displayed.
Assumptions
- Development will be initially done in the sandbox and then will be pushed to production. Once verified in the sandbox.
- We added a proposal for developing the latest version of the Artina Website.
- We have estimated the effort for displaying a validation message in liquid pixel item page.
- We will develop a UI section based on the current theme and any additional changes to the UI or functionality will be considered extra.
