To create custom field with decimal number type, go to
Customization > List ,Record & fields > Transaction Line fields
Provide custom field name and id
Type as Decimal Number
Applies to – Sales item
Add other required fields and save
NB: Under Display, when apply formatting is checked, the numbers above 1000 appears with comma
when apply formatting is unchecked, the numbers above 1000 appears without comma
