Requirement
The requirement is to adding the link in tracking number and abbreviated shipping method associated with each purchased fulfilled item on the purchase history and detail pages of the OneSource webstore, so customers can easily track their shipments.
- Add the tracking link along with the tracking number in the purchase history list page.
- display the link for every tracking number that has a fulfilled order in the purchase history page.
- The link will help to navigate to the corresponding delivery method page based on the shipping method that used in the transction.
- Add a new column for to display the abbreviated shipping method on the purchase history page.
- Add the link along with tracking number of the order-fulfilled item on the purchase history detail page, too.
- on the current RAC tracking – update the drop down selections
- FEDX – change to FEDEX
- UPS – remove
- UPS mail – change to USPS
Deliverables
- The tracking link will be added along with the tracking number for every fulfilled order in the purchase history list page.
- The link will correspond to the shipping method used in the sales order. This link will help redirect you to the related delivery method page by clicking the tracking number.
- The abbreviated shipping method associated with each fulfilled item will be displayed on the purchase history page.
- A new column will be added to display the abbreviated shipping method on the purchase history page.
- The abbreviated shipping method means the display name of the shipping method on the NetSuite will be displayed by considering the shipping method based on the domain
- The link will aslo be added to the tracking number of the fulfilled order on the detail page of the purchase history.
- Will update the drop-down section on the current RAC Tracking selection, the UPS method will be removed and replace the FEDX and UPS mail by FEDEX and USPS respectively.
- In the case of fulfilled order having multiple tracking number, we will show a button.Upon clicking the button it will show the list of tracking number and the tracking number will navigate to the corresponding delivery method page.
Scope & Limitation
- Any changes to the proposed solution will be considered as change request.
- UI development will be matching to current theme and other UI changes will be out of scope.
Assumption
- The UI will be matching to the current theme.
- If the record is not in the “Fulfilment” state, then there will be no tracking order number and ship method to display in website. for example.
