Items out of Stock Are Showing on Website as in Stock

Requirement:
Although some items are Out of Stock, they could appear as In Stock on website.

Solution

If you are sure that no quantity are available for website purchase and items are showing In Stock on website, please run inventory recalculation:

1. Find which item is Out of Stock and showing as In Stock on website
2. Go to Transaction > Inventory > Adjust Inventory
3. Adjustment Account:Enter Account
4. Subsidiary: Select Subsidiary
   Note: it may or may not be applicable to your account depending on the structure.
5. Date: Enter Date
6. Adjustments:
   1. Item:Enter Item
   2. Location:Select Location
   3. Adjust Qty By:Enter -1
   4. Click Save
7. Repeat steps from 1 to 6.2
8. Adjust Qty By:Enter 1
   
   Note: In first step, inventory was adjusted negatively with quantity -1 and after that positively with quantity 1. This will trigger the inventory recalculation and all items should show correctly on website.
