Clarification on adding custom fields in the Pay bill window.

As per the requirement

In the payment bill window, If the field “Do not send email” is yes then no email will be sent to the vendor regarding bill payment and if the value is No, then email will be sent to the vendor.

Currently, the field is added as a custom segment.

Can we add a checkbox instead of the custom segment on the pay bills window?
