Inventory Location in the line level of Return Authorization Record

As part of the Location update in sales orders, the inventory subsidiary and inventory location were updated in the Return Authorization record based on the system information. However, there were no visible changes in the record.

As per the initial investigation, it was discovered that the inventory location and inventory subsidiary had been unset previously by a script. They were subsequently reset when the record was triggered through a CSV import.

It is likely that the client script was responsible for the initial unset of the inventory location and subsidiary. However, since the Return Authorization record is a non-posting transaction and an old record, these changes will not have any impact on its functionality or financial implications.

However, The inventory location plays a significant role in posting transactions as it determines the physical location from which the inventory is being sourced or to which it is being delivered.
