‘Reallocate Items’ in the navigation

Jira code: OTGN-207

Issue: Is there a function to run a backorder report from an item receipt? So when we receipt a purchase order, we can run a report to see if anything that we just receipted, is on backorder with our customers?

Solution: There is a standard page in NetSuite called- ‘Reallocate Items’ in the navigation Transaction>Inventory>Reallocate items. On that page, you can search location wise item and see in which all orders that item is committed to also the orders which can be committed, you can also reallocate items to another order vice versa. This is not a report but this page gives the above information. Will this satisfy your requirement or do we need to create a search or schedule the search in such a way that the orders that can be fulfilled based on the different items of that Item receipt, to be sent to a person via a mail?

Please note:
NetSuite sometimes automatically allocates items from inventory to commit them to fill orders. Inventory can be automatically committed in the following cases:
-As each sales order is created or approved, your account automatically allocates inventory from the item’s quantity available.
-Inventory is automatically committed to fill backorders when goods are received from your vendors.(when item receipts are recorded)
-The inventory generated from assembly work orders is automatically allocated.
