Proposal Summary
This proposal is for the Update PDP page to display a message when the ordered quantity goes above the available quantity https://www.rac.osiml.com/, https://www.spb.osiml.com/, and http://www.scatrainingbaglr4.gq/ websites.
Requirement
To check the possibility of displaying a message on the PDP page when the user enters a value that is going beyond the availability of the item’s stock. And also shows a stock message on the Product details page of the item.
Deliverables
- We will activate the Available SuiteCommerce Extension for showing the stock message on the Product details page.
- We will hide the current stock status from the Product details page as the client doesn’t want to show the current stock.
- In PDP if the user enters a quantity greater than the available the message “You have exceeded the maximum available quantity” will be displayed.
- The functionality will be activated in all three domains currently in use that is https://www.rac.osiml.com/, https://www.spb.osiml.com/, and http://www.scatrainingbaglr4.gq/.
Assumption
- The implementation of this feature will not require major structural changes to the existing SuiteCommerce Advanced codebase.
- The product details page can be modified using the available customization options provided by SuiteCommerce Advanced.
SCOPE LIMITATION
- The UI of the changes will be as per the current theme of the website.
- No enhancement or UI redesign will be done other than the above design in this scope.
