Why is the account not showing under the Payables account in Intercompany Preferences page?

We are setting up default accounts in Intercompany Preferences, we have our accounts set up, Eliminate intercompany check box is checked and still, we don’t see the account in the preferences –

Solution

As per 94879 Defining Intercompany Preferences:

1. Receivables Account – This account can be any account of the receivable type.
2. Payables Account – This account can be any account of the payable type.

Thus, account types other than the ones mentioned would really not show under the selection for the preferences.
