- Log into google cloud console and go to your project.
- Go to compute engine section and locate the virtual machine. Instance associated with WordPress website.
- Click on the SSH button next to the VM instance to open a secure shell connection to the server
- Then use the required commands to install the latest version of php
- you need to configure your web server (e.g., Apache or Nginx) to use the updated PHP version
- We need to restart Apache and install MySQL in the same version.
Incase if we are able to change the contents in the existing live website to an updated new domain without any problems, what are the possibilities and how we can switch the current live website to the newly one?
- Unlock your domain.
Login to domain register panel and flip the switch that says domain transfer lock to off. Then select consent to unlock the selected domain.
