How to set a template as the front page of wordpress website.

From settings:

1. Visit your site’s dashboard
2. Go to Settings → Reading in the left sidebar:

3.Locate the dropdown option Your homepage displays at the top of the screen:

4. Choose from the following options:
   • Select the — Default — option to use the homepage design from your site’s theme.
     • You can edit the design of this homepage by going to Appearance → Editor. To learn how to customize the design of this page, visit Edit the Default Homepage Template.
   • To use a different page you created, such as a custom design or landing page, select that page from the list. Only published pages will show here, not draft pages.
     • To create and publish a new page, navigate to Pages → Add New.
5. Click Save settings to save your selected homepage.

On some themes, you can set a custom homepage from the Pages screen by following these steps:

1. Visit your site’s dashboard.
2. Click on Pages.
3. Locate the page you wish to set as your homepage and click the three dots next to it.
4. Select Set as Homepage:

1. Visit your site’s dashboard
2. Go to Appearance → Customize.
3. Select Homepage Settings.
4. Select A static page under Your Dhomepage displays.
5. From the drop-down menu under Homepage, choose your new page as the front page for your site.
6. Click Save Changes at the top of the Customizer
