This proposal covers the scope to create a website using the SuiteCommerce MyAccount (SCMA). It is a self-service web portal where customers can manage account information, view recent transactions, pay invoices, and more.
Requirement
We need to create a website using the SuiteCommerce MyAccount (SCMA). It is a self-service web portal where customers can manage account information, view recent transactions, pay invoices, and more.
On the website There will be no shopping pages, only My account will available.
Deliverables
- SuiteCommerce MyAccount (SCMA) is NetSuite’s online customer portal solution. It provides your customers with access to their transactions and allows them to pay their invoices.
- SCMA is composed of the My Account application but does not include the Shopping and Checkout applications.
- Customers must log in to access your SCMA site, whereas an SC or SCA site can be public.
This is how the website record look like
We can add the domain to this website similarly on the SCA and SC. Logged-out users are directed to the login page. Logged-in users are directed to the account overview page. On browsing the domain name, it will automatically redirect to this URL Log in | Register (netsuite.com)
After login, it will navigate to the My Account section
There will be Overview, Purchases, Wishlist, Billing, settings and cases section on MyAccount page.
- Overview: The Overview section serves as a landing page when customers log into their account. It provides a summary of their account information, such as profile, shipping addresses, and payment.
- Purchases: The Purchases section allows customers to view their purchase history and track the status of their orders. They can access details of each transaction, including order dates, items purchased, quantities, prices. The sales order of the customer that created on the NetSuite will be available here from the purchase history section
- Wishlist: The Wishlist section enables customers to create and manage a list of desired products. They can add items to their wish list here they can add item by searching it from search bar
- Billing: The Billing section provides customers with access to their invoices, payments, and billing history. They can review and download invoices and make online payments for outstanding balances. This section allows customers to manage their financial transactions conveniently.
- Settings: The Settings section allows customers to customize and manage their account preferences and personal information. They can update their contact details, password, and other account settings.
- Cases: The Cases section enables customers to submit and track support or service-related cases. They can create new support tickets, provide detailed descriptions of their issues or inquiries, and monitor the progress and resolution of their cases.
- In NetSuite, we need to enable the required features to get the features to display the My account pages.
- Also, we will set up required NetSuite preference to display the My account page.
- Apart from Suite commerce we will install some other bundles to get the suite commerce bundle.
- After this we can create the SuiteCommerce MyAccount webstie
Scope & Limitation
- Unsecured domains are not compatible with SCMA.
- SuiteCommerce MyAccount (SCMA) does not support SuiteCommerce (SC) Themes.
- Any changes to the theme and addition of other functionalities are out of scope.
Assumption
- The necessary features for Commerce websites in NetSuite are already enabled and configured as per the proposal requirements.
