Resolve Webstore Matrix Item Warning This Item Is Not Properly Configured, Please Contact Your Administrator

We encounter the warning “This item is not properly configured, please contact your administrator” when weview the item in their webstore. This solution is applicable for customers who already have a correct setup for the Item Options in the Item record.

Solution:

  1. Create a new Matrix Item
    1. Navigate to Lists Accounting Items New
    2. Click Matrix Item Assistant
    3. Item Name/Number: Enter name
    4. Display in Website: Mark check
    5. Subsidiary: Choose a Subsidiary
    6. Schedule: Choose a Schedule
    7. Click Next
    8. Use an Existing List: Select the custom list
    9. Insert Item Attribute: Select from the list
    10. Insert Matrix Option: Select from the list
    11. Matrix Item Name Template: Update to desired template
    12. Select from the Item Options
    13. Click Next
    14. Click Finish
  2. Perform Cache Invalidation Request
    1. Navigate to Commerce Content Management > Cache Invalidation Requests > New
    2. Select a domain
    3. Select Clear cache for whole domain(s)
    4. Click Submit
  3. Access the original item in webstore
    1. Open a Guest Browser
    2. Access the original item’s URL
    3. Verify if item details are showing
  4. Once verified, Delete the new matrix item that was created
    1. Navigate to Lists Accounting Items
    2. Click Edit on the newly created Matrix Item
    3. Hover on Actions
    4. Click Delete
