This proposal covers How we can show the uploaded logo in the thumbnail of the logo equivalent item and show the correct combined quantity pricing in the quantity pricing list.
Proposal Summary:
This proposal covers the scope of adding the thumbnail image to the logo equivalent item that the customer uploaded and showing the correct quantity in the quantity select box of the cart page and edit cart page.
Requirement1 :
When the customer uploads a logo for the items that have the logo option, the logo equivalent item will be created. In the equivalent item thumbnail, the customer’s uploaded image should be shown.
Solution 1: In the cart, we can show the customer’s uploaded logo image as the thumbnail of the Logo equivalent item. So, customers can know which logo they have uploaded to the respective item.
- In Image 1, customers uploaded logo images will be shown as needed, but in cases where a customer uploads multiple logos for multiple items, it will create one equivalent item with multiple quantities, as in Image 2. So, we are unable to show all customer uploaded images in a single equivalent item, so to come back from this dilemma, we have moved to Solution 2.
Solution 2:
- To overcome the issues in Solution 1, we have developed Solution 2. In this solution, we will display the Logo uploaded image in the respective item only so the customer can know for which item the logo is uploaded.
Requirement 2:
- when a customer adds the same item to the cart twice and the quantity of the items combined is not in the quantity selection drop-down box. The recent quantity of the added item should be shown.
- Instead of the recent quantity shown as selected in the quantity selection drop-down, we can show the combined quantity and price in the selection drop-down on the cart page and edit cart page. Thisoption is only visible to customers of their customized quantity; once the customer selects another quantity from the quantity drop-down, the previously added customized quantity drop-down will be removed from the quantity selection box.
Assumption
- We are assuming that the logo thumbnail should be shown in only cart page.
- We are assuming that combinedquantity is to be shown in cart and edit cart pages.
