Item Ranking in Netsuite

In NetSuite, item ranking refers to the prioritization of items within a specific category or hierarchy. It allows businesses to prioritize certain items over others based on various factors, such as popularity, profitability, or strategic importance.

To set up item ranking in NetSuite, follow these steps:

1. Go to Lists > Relationships > Items > Item List.
2. Locate the specific item category or hierarchy for which you want to set up ranking.
3. Click on the item category or hierarchy name to open the details page.
4. In the “General” subtab, scroll down to the “Rankings” section.
5. Click on the “Rankings” subtab to access the item ranking settings.
6. In the item ranking section, you can define the ranking for each item by entering a numeric value. For example, a higher number indicates a higher ranking, so an item with a ranking of 1 would be prioritized over an item with a ranking of 2.
7. Save the changes.
