When a Matrix item is added to the cart, but there is an error message received when trying to process it, the steps below could be followed to resolve the error.
- View the item record of the item that cannot be added to the cart
- Click on Custom tab and check what Item Options are included for the said item
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Item Options
- Edit other item options and under the Applies to tab, check if the item is included in other item options that is not specified in the item record
- If the item is included in other item options, add the item option/s under the Custom tab of the item record
- Hover on Actions, click Update Matrix
- Select the child items that will be updated and click Submit.
