Resolve Error ‘We Couldn’t Process Your Item’ When Adding Items to the Cart

When a Matrix item is added to the cart, but there is an error message received when trying to process it, the steps below could be followed to resolve the error.

  1. View the item record of the item that cannot be added to the cart
  2. Click on Custom tab and check what Item Options are included for the said item
  3. Navigate to Customization Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Item Options
  4. Edit other item options and under the Applies to tab, check if the item is included in other item options that is not specified in the item record
  5. If the item is included in other item options, add the item option/s under the Custom tab of the item record
  6. Hover on Actions, click Update Matrix
  7. Select the child items that will be updated and click Submit.
