The newly created Canada Tax Code is not available on the Tax Item drop-down list when a transaction is created for the Canada Subsidiary.
Solution
NetSuite handles Canadian Taxes by using Tax Groups instead of Tax Codes. For Canada, Tax Groups are usually used in transactions. These Tax Groups are composed of the GST/HST and PST Tax Codes. In line with the newly created tax code, you must create a Tax Group and then associate the Tax Code in order to see it on the drop-down list of the Tax Item field.
