The following steps can be used to add the search result to dashboard as portlet
Step 1: Create the saved search and enable the following checkboxes.
Step 2: Add custom search portlet from personalize Dashboard.
Step 3: click setup from portlet
Step 4: select the saved search and save
The saved search results with filter will show in the portlet in the Dashboard.
