Comparative Trial Balance Report

Client requested for a comparative trail balance report similar to comparative balance sheet report

Solution:

1. Navigate to Reports > Financial > Trial Balance > Customize
2. Select the Debit /Credit column
3. Click Remove Column
4. Add Fields: Expand Trial Balance 
5. Click Amount
6. Alternate Period Range Type: Select Relative to Report Date
7. Cumulative Value: Enter Checkmark
8. Alternate Period Range: Select the Last Fiscal Year
9. Add Fields: Expand Trial Balance
10. Select another Amount field
11. Alternate Period Range Type: SelectRelative to Report Date
12. Cumulative Value: Enter Checkmark
13. Alternate Period Range: SelectThis Fiscal Year
14. Click Save or Preview
