Individual users get access to your Jira project through its permission scheme and project role membership.
Need to have the project administrator role in your project.
To remove someone from a company-managed project:
- If not already there, navigate to your company-managed project.
- From your project’s sidebar, select Project settings > People.
- In the user’s or group’s entry on the table, select Remove.
When you remove someone, they may still have access and permissions in your project, depending on your project’s permission scheme. For example, they may be part of a group that your Jira admin has granted project permissions to. Only Jira admins can edit or adjust the settings of a permission scheme. We recommend you reach out to them to make sure a person is fully removed from your company-managed project.
