Upon checking, the ability to select the Parent Subsidiary (holding) only will automatically select its dependent subsidiaries.
This is currently an enhancement under 321641 Subsidiary Navigator – ability to select single subsidiary/deselect child subs
However, I was able to find an alternate solution for this one:
1.) Navigate to Home > Set Preferences > Go to Restrict View
2.) In the Subsidiary field > select the Parent Company
3.) Save your preferences
4.) Go to Home
In the Subsidiary Navigator, only the Parent Company (Holding) will be selected
Note: Once you click the Parent Amount again it will reselect again the subsidiaries also, once you log out it, the Restrict View in the Subsidiary will default to none.
