Upon further checking, this is a current limitation. However, we have come up with a workaround for this. We’ll have to create a new Custom Line Field that will source the Project ID of the Project.
How to source the Project ID on a custom field:
Once you’ve created the new Custom Line Field, set the fields below:
- Label: <Input your label here>
- Type:Free-Form Text
- Store Value: No
On the Applies To subtab, copy the values that you have on your other custom field
On the Sourcing & Filtering subtab, set the values below:
Source List: <Your Project Custom Field>
Source From: Name/ID
Once done, it should now source the Project ID of the Project as seen below:
We can then use the new field on the PDF Template. In my case it’s custcol23
