Time Approval Field Not Available in Project Record

Check on the following features and preferences that needs to be enabled before the Project Time Approvals could be set in the Project Records:

  1. Setup > Company > Enable Features > Employees
    • Time Tracking
    • Weekly Timesheets
  2. Setup > Company > Enable Features > Company
    • Projects
    • Project Management
  3. Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > Time&Expenses > General
    • Automatically Notify Supervisor (optional)
  4. In the Project Resource Role, the following must be checked:
    • Project Time Approver
    • Own Time Approval

If you are using the Standard Project Form on your project record otherwise, customize your current preferred form to expose the preference.

Another Solution

  1. Navigate to Setup Accounting Accounting Preferences
  2. Click Approval Routing tab
  3. Time Bills: Unmark the Checkbox
  4. Click Save
