Proposal For Resale/Tax Certificate automation option from the SuiteCommerce site

Proposal Summary

This proposal covers the feature for the Resale/Tax certificate automation option from the

SuiteCommerce site of Cleerline Technology Group.

The Cleerline Technology Group USA needs a feature for the Resale/Tax certificate automation

option from the SuiteCommerce site.

We will add a check box to select the option for uploading the resale certificate on the
Register page.
The check box with the label ‘Upload Resale Certificate’ can be added just below the field “Federal EIN (Tax ID) Number.”
If the check the box is checked the Resale certificate upload button will be displayed just below the same checkbox.
A custom HTML form will be created with all the fields in the form. In the form, we can add both mandatory and optional fields. The customer can only submit forms only when all mandatory fields have been filled by them.

Once the user registers, the form will be rendered, and a PDF file will be created.
The file will be saved in the file cabinet and will be updated in a field named Resale Certificate File in the customer record.

Once the certificate is uploaded, the checkbox fields Resale Certificate Uploaded and Resale Certificate will be enabled.

Fields need to be created in the NetSuite customer record,

▫ Resale Certificate Uploaded – Checkbox -> Enabled when file is uploaded.

▫ Resale Certificate – Checkbox -> If enabled, the resale option should be available for

existing customers.

▫ Resale Certificate File – File field -> Where the file is added.

We can include the following features to improve/enhance:

On my account page, we can display a new tab that will be created for resale certificates. If the form is uploaded it will be shown there, else there will be an option to fill in the form.
When a customer logs in, if the checkbox field named “Resale Certificate” is checked in the customer record, a pop-up will be shown for the resale certificate.
In the pop-up, there will be 2 buttons named Skip/cancel and Update certificate. Clicking on the update certificate button will navigate to my account resale certificate management section. From there the customer can update the certificate.

1. Could you please verify if the sample template we shared for the Resale/Tax certificate form

is acceptable? Otherwise, if you provide a template, we will design the form accordingly.

2. Additionally, could you please confirm that we are good to implement the additional

features mentioned in the enhancements?

We assume the design elements will resemble the sample design of the HTML page

we’ve provided. Please be aware that the level of effort may vary based on the

complexity of the design.
