Solve 0.01 amount discrepancy in invoices

While adding item lines in the invoice in NetSuite, the amount in the item line is modified automatically.

The issue happens due to the “0.01 and Below” set in the “Tax Rounding Precision” field in the customer record.

To prevent a 0.01 amount discrepancy in invoices and ensure accurate data, our initial step is to configure the “Tax Rounding Precision” for customers to “0.1 and Below.”

Also, we can set the “Tax Rounding Precision” globally under setup taxes. This setting will be the default for new customers in the future. To avoid the same issues of invoices for these new customers, we have to either update the “Tax Rounding Precision” globally in the tax setup or manually configure it for each customer.
