Scenario:
User would like to identify the settings on how to set Global Subscription Status for customers created from website.
Solution:
Navigate to Setup > Marketing > Marketing Preferences
Click General tab
Unsubscribed to Marketing By Default
- Check this box if user wants new Customers, Employees, Partners, and Vendors to have their Global Subscription status set to Soft Opt-Out
- Clear this box if user wants new records to have their Global Subscription status set to Soft Opt-In
Click Save
Navigate to Commerce > Websites > Website List
Website Name: Click Edit
Website Setup: Click Shopping subtab
Registration Page:
- Display Unsubscribe to Email Checkbox on Registration Page
- Check this box if you want to give customers the option to unsubscribe from your e-mail campaigns on your Web site when they register.
Click Save
