Create a connection to Salsify

In order to create a connection to Salsify, the following required settings must be setup.

1. Name your connection – Enter a clear and distinguishable name.
2. API type – Choose the API type, depending on the Salsify API type you’re connecting to. The settings then become specific to the selected API type. Options are
3. Salsify: V1
4. Salsify: Versionless
5. Organization ID -Enter your organization ID. For example, if your Salsify account is located at https://app.salsify.com/app/orgs/s-a3326-0ac-4de-972-c436063303cf/products, then s-a3326-0ac-4de-972-c436063303cf is the organization ID.
6. API key – Enter your Salsify API key.
7. Test the connection.
8. Save the connection

How to retrieve API key

1. Sign in to your Salsify developers account.
2. Navigate to My profile > API access.
3. Click Show API key. The Get API key window appears.
4. Enter your password. Click Ok.
5. Copy API key.
