Ship Complete Flag

Ship Complete flag is a standard preference in Netsuite.

In WMS

Ship Complete flag will have an impact on WMS Fulfillment Order Line creation process on the following:

  1. If Ship Complete flag is checked in the Shipping tab of the Sales Order, the script related to Fulfillment Order Line creation will validate whether or not all line items are fully committed.
    • If all line items are fully committed, Fulfillment Order Line record will be created.
    • If not all line items are fully committed and some are partially committed only or back ordered, the system will not create Fulfillment Order Line record.
  2. Once all the line items of a previously back ordered Sales Order are fully committed, the scheduler related to Fulfillment Order Line creation will create Fulfillment Order Line record.

In Netsuite UI:

Respect Ship Complete is available as option in the Filter By field when user navigates to Transactions > Sales > Fulfill Orders or Transactions > Management > Print Checks and Forms > Picking Tickets.

When Respect Ship Complete is selected in the Filter By field, it will show orders that are:

  1. Ship Complete setting on Sales Orders = and some or all of the line items are committed.
  2. Ship Complete setting on Sales Orders = and all items are committed

Requirement is working if we follow this path Transactions Sales Fulfill Orders and use the Respect Ship Complete  filter

Reason for fulfill button appear in sales order page even if the ship complete flag is true and only some items are committed :

The Ship Complete feature currently works only for Bulk Item Fulfillments and not on the Sales Order level.

The Fulfill button on the sales order record will show regardless if Ship Complete is enabled or not under Shipping tab. It depends on the user’s Fulfill Based on Commitment preference under Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > Order Management tab > Fulfillment section.
