To allow all statuses except one to transition to a specific status in a Jira Software workflow, follow these steps:
Edit the Workflow:
- Navigate to your Jira project.
- Click on Project settings (gear icon) and select Workflows.
- Find the relevant workflow and click Edit.
Add a Global Transition:
- In the workflow designer, locate the transition where you want to allow all statuses (except one) to transition to a specific status.
