Subsidiary Creation Error Due to Currency-Country Combination

Scenario:

An issue was encountered while attempting to create subsidiaries in the NetSuite account. The client held licenses for six countries, and subsidiaries had been successfully created for each of these countries. However, upon attempting to create another subsidiary using a previously utilized country, an error was encountered.

Issue:

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the error stemmed from a discrepancy in the currency-country combination for one subsidiary. This particular subsidiary had been created for testing purposes and featured a different currency-country (India -GBP) combination than the others. Even though we are utilizing the same set of six currencies and six countries in various combinations, each unique combination will still be considered as a distinct country license utilized.

This highlighted an important consideration: in addition to the subsidiary-country / subsidiary-currency combination, the country-currency combination must also be taken into account when assigning those to subsidiaries.
