Managing a large volume of events in NetSuite can be challenging, especially when it comes to deleting them in bulk. Fortunately, NetSuite offers a powerful solution to this problem through its Mass Update feature.
- Navigate to Mass Update: To access the Mass Update feature, navigate to Lists > Mass Update > Mass Update from the NetSuite dashboard.
- Select Activities: In the Mass Update menu, locate and click on the “Activities” link. This will allow us to update activities such as events, tasks, and calls.
- Choose Delete Events: Click on the “Delete Events” option.
- Title of Actions: Give a descriptive title to the actions that are about to be performed.
- Specify Criteria: Under the Criteria subtab, specify any conditions that should be met for the events to be deleted. This could include criteria based on event types, dates, or other custom fields.
- Select Fields to Show: In the Results subtab, select which fields wanted to include in the preview of the events to be deleted. This will help to verify the events before deleting them.
- Preview Events: Click on the “Preview” button to generate a preview of the events to be deleted. This will display a list of events that meet the specified criteria.
- Exclude Events (Optional): If any events should not be deleted, then we can clear the checkbox next to their names in the preview list.
- Perform Update: Finally, click on the “Perform Update” button to delete the selected events.
