Unable to Add the Vendor Permission to a Role

Scenario

An Administrator would like to add Vendor Permission to a role, however when customizing the role they cannot locate the permission. The Administrator should check if the record has been renamed.

Note: Renaming a record will also rename the permission. 

 

Solution
  1. Navigate to SetupCompanyRename Records/Transactions
  2. Check if Vendor record has been renamed
  3.  Note: For this scenario the Vendor record is renamed to Supplier.
  4. Navigate to SetupUsers / Roles Manage Roles
  5. Role: Click Edit
  6. Click Permissions
  7. Click Lists
  8. Permission: 
  • Select Supplier
  • Click Add

9. Click Save
