Completing 2FA Setup

Steps to follow for setting up 2FA using an Authenticator app:

1. Download the Authenticator app from the App Store/Play Store. Recommended apps include Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, and Oracle Authenticator.
2. Reset the 2FA in the settings. Upon login using username and password, the initial 2FA will be sent to the email associated with the user’s account.
3. Then the user will navigate to the page for setting up Authentication using the authenticator app.
4. On the authentication setup page, locate the QR Code provided. Use the “+” icon in the authenticator app to scan the QR code.
5. After scanning, a 6-digit code will be displayed on the authenticator app. Note: The code expires after 30 seconds and is automatically regenerated.
6. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app into the field labeled “Verification Code” on the setup page.
7. Click the next button to generate the backup code (8 digits) for the corresponding account. This backup code can be used as a verification code during login if needed.
