Error message when creating credit memo in NetSuite account with suitetax: Please enter value(s) for: Tax Transaction From.
It is a Transaction Body field locked in India Localization SuiteTax Engine Bundle.This field is used to indicate the start date of the Bills that belongs to the Challan record. This is shown in India Custom TDS Challan Voucher Form but can be shown as well to other Transaction Forms by clicking Apply to Forms button in the Transaction Body Field record.
The user can remove this field if not needed in the transactions. To remove this:
1. Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields
2. Set From Bundle filter to 255126
3. Locate and Click “Tax Transaction From” with the field id “custbody_in_deductee_detail_date_from”.
4. Click Apply To Forms button
5. Unmark the Show checkbox
6. Click Save
