Proposal summary
This proposal covers the possibility to open an account on SCA by creating a landing page to access the registration page/terms and conditions page.
Requirement
- Provide CrossFit Gyms with the ability to open an account on SCA. They will need to use the following landing page to access their registration page: https://www.goodearthdist.com/crossfit
- On that page, the CrossFit locations will be able to enter their information and approve the terms and conditions to open an account with us.
- The following values need to be provided by the customer at the registration page:
- CrossFit Location Name – Mapped to Addressee field
- Name and last name – Mapped to Attention field
- Address – Includes Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Zip
- Email – Mapped to Email field
- Phone – Mapped to phone field
- Password
- When the customer registers, the following values will be predefined for them:
- Status: CUSTOMER-Closed Won
- Type: Company
- Category: Club/Store
- Bill Freight: Yes
- Primary Subsidiary: GoodEarth Distribution LLC
- Price Level: CrossFit
- Terms: Cash in Advance
- Customer Segments: CrossFit
- Shipping State (custentity_cseg2): Equal to the customer state
- Shipping Carrier: FexEd/More
- Shipping Method: Other
- Role: Customer Center – Card Payment (new role to create)
- Allow SCA Dropships: No (new field to create)
- Invoice to be emailed to (custentity_bsp_invoice_tobeemailed_to): email provided by customer
- The registration page will include the CrossFit logo (attached below)
- The following Terms & Conditions will also be presented to them on the landing page, and they will have to accept them by clicking a check mark to be able to register.

Terms & Conditions
Confidentiality: All pricing, fees, supply program details, and other information of GoodEarth Distribution contained in the Portal and Platform Access between GoodEarth Distribution and CrossFit Gyms shall remain the sole and exclusive property of GoodEarth Distribution. The Parties acknowledge and agree that the pricing, fees, supply program details, and other information of GoodEarth Distribution may be shared ONLY with current, former, and prospective CrossFit Gyms. It is understood that No CrossFit Gyms will otherwise share the any GoodEarth pricing to the public.
MANUFACTURER WARRANTY: NEITHER PARTY, NOR ANY OTHER PERSON ON SUCH PARTY’S BEHALF, HAS MADE OR MAKES ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, EITHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, WHETHER ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, AND EACH PARTY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT HAS NOT RELIED UPON ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY MADE BY THE OTHER PARTY, OR ANY OTHER PERSON ON SUCH PARTY’S BEHALF. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, CROSSFIT GYMS AGREE THAT IT WILL RELY EXCLUSIVELY ON THE WARRANTIES, IF ANY, PROVIDED BY PRODUCT MANUFACTURERS, AND GOODEARTH DISTRIBUTION MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY PRODUCTS, AND GOODEARTH DISTRIBUTION MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OF PRODUCTS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Return Policy: Returns are available due to customer error (such as ordering the wrong product), only if the product is in new, unopened, and unused condition within 30 days of the invoice date. There will be a 20% restocking fee and the CrossFit Gym will be responsible for the freight costs to both receive and return the product. Visible damage must be reported to GoodEarth Distribution within 5 days from the invoice date, including pictures of the damaged product. GoodEarth will ship a replacement for no additional charge.
- These same terms and conditions will be accessible to the customers when completing orders on the shopping cart. The shopping cart will therefore include a link for them to be able to read the terms on a pop-up window.
Our Solution
- We can create a landing page for registration. In this method we can create custom URLs for our form. We will use the url https://www.goodearthdist.com/crossfit . After submitting the form, Lead records will be created in Netsuite.
- We will include the below fields in the registration page.
- CrossFit Location Name
- Name and last name
- Address (Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Zip)
- Phone
- Password
- Upon submitting, the values in these fields will be mapped to the corresponding fields in the Lead record created in the Netsuite.
- These below fields will be predefined with the given values in the netsuite Lead record after registration.
- Status: CUSTOMER-Closed Won
- Type: Company
- Bill Freight: Yes
- Primary Subsidiary: GoodEarth Distribution LLC
- Customer Segments: CrossFit
- Allow SCA Dropships: No (new field to create)
- The below fields will be added to the lead record and they will be also predefined.
- Price Level: CrossFit
- Terms: Cash in Advance(new term to create in sandbox)
- Shipping State (custentity_cseg2): Equal to the customer state
- Shipping Carrier: FedEx/More
- Shipping Method: Other
- Category: Club/Store
- Role: Customer Center – Card Payment (new role to create)

- Logo : We will include the CrossFit Logo in the registration page.
- Terms and conditions: Below the registration section, we can include the terms and conditions with a checkbox field, those who check the box will be able to do the registration. While clicking on the terms and conditions link, it will navigate to terms and conditions landing page, that will be created using SMT.
- We will add password fields in the register page and on submitting the form, we will save these values in the netsuite Lead record. We will show an information message on the registration page as “Registration completed” after successful registration, then after 5 seconds we will be redirected to the main sign-in page (www.goodearthdist.com).
Cart Page:
These same terms and conditions will be accessible to the customers when completing orders on the shopping cart. In the shopping cart page we can include a link to read the terms on a pop-up window.
Assumptions
- As we don’t have a mockup for registration, we will create the form by matching the current website theme.
Risks
- In the production account, the latest deployment occurred on 9/1/2021, but the latest version backup was updated on 12/3/2020.
