A test case is a set of conditions or variables under which a tester will determine whether the system under test satisfies requirements or works correctly. It is very import that you capture the results of your assigned test cases.
Notes:
• NetSuite Implementation Team role is required to access the test cases.
• It is critical to confirm that you are using the correct role as you test a case in a business process.
Steps
1) Navigate to Implementation > Testing > Test Cases.
2) Confirm the View with your Administrator. Note: The PMO| Default list view is the most updated standard NetSuite view.
3) Expand Filter by clicking the “+” sign, if needed.
4) Select your name as the Assigned To. Additional filters can be added if needed.
5) Click Edit for the Test Case to be performed.
6) Review the Test Case section as your Project Team may have added additional steps.
7) When you are ready to begin a case, update the Status to In Progress.
8) In a new tab, perform the scenario in NetSuite.
9) After completing the test, populate the Test Results section.
Tip: You can utilize the In-line Editing feature to update results from the list.
10) Select the appropriate Status and enter Actual Results.
11) Click [Save] and proceed to the next assigned case.
