Overview:
Enhanced Validations is a solution bundle containing three separate but combinable parts:
1. Item Validations – Assigns Items and Customers to respective group categories, then allows the user to restrict which items are sold to which customers based on the overlaps of these groups as defined on the customer group record. These specified restrictions are then validated and enforced on any sales transactions made.
2. Negative Inventory Validations – Restricts the user from entering any quantity of items on sales transactions that would result in that item’s quantity going negative at the specified location. This can be given as a warning, or prevent the user from entering the item completely.
3. Default Customer Discounts – Defaults a header level discount on any sales transaction based on the customer that is selected for that sale. This can be assigned at the customer group level, or overridden on an individual customer level.
All three of these solutions can be individually deployed and undeployed to selected transactions through a custom deployment record.
