Proposal Summary

This proposal covers the scope of adding a new item selection popup with multiple filters in the item line and a new summary box in the sales order at Pharma Cosmetics by Jobin & Jismi.

 

1. Requirement From Pharma Cosmetics

To enhance the sales order creation process by providing a user-friendly item selection popup with multiple filters, including brand, category, and type. This will enable users to efficiently search and add items to the sales order.

2.Deliverables

We have reviewed the requirement thoroughly and please find below the deliverables we propose. 

It is based on the anticipations, discussions, and understandings based on the email/virtual/telephonic communications between the client and the implementer. Any requirement arising during the implementation time will be considered a change request.  

Sales Order Customization

 

The implementer will customize the sales order for accomplishing the following customization.

 

Item Selection Popup

Item Selection Popup: A new field will be added to the sales order item line. A popup window will appear when the user enters the item keyword in the item filter field within the item lines of the sales order.

The figure 1.0 illustrates the sample “Item filter” field in the sales order item line.

 

• Multiple Filters: filtering options will be provided within the popup for brand, category, and type to refine the search results.
• Search Functionality: Allow users to search for items based on the selected filters.
• We will add one checkbox to the item sublist. Once the checkbox is checked, a 100% discount will be added to the items. Otherwise, the discount% will be zero.
• Item Addition: Enable users to select an item from the search results and add it to the sales order by clicking an “Add” button.
• Total Calculation: Automatically calculate and display the total amount for the selected items in the popup and update the sales order accordingly.

 

 

The figure 1.1 illustrates the Existing Add Item Popup. We can create new Item selection popup with same filters and item sublist. The Summary box will not be added to the Item selection popup.

 

Summary Box on sales Order:

·      Add Summary Box in the Sales Order:

 

The Summary box will be added to the sales order to display the discount values from the Item lines.

 

 

The figure 1.3 illustrates the current categories box added to the sales order. Instead of this box, we will add a summary box for showing the applied discounts in the item line.

 

·      Dynamic Update of Categories Box on Item Addition/Removal:

Currently, the Categories box does not update when items are added or removed from the sales order. The Categories box will be dynamically updated in the sales order whenever item lines are added or removed from the sales order.

3. Assumptions:

 

·      The item master data is well-organized and includes all necessary attributes (brand, category, type) for filtering.

·      The Summary box for discount calculation will not be added in the Item Selection Popup.

·      The updates on the existing “Add Item” popup will not be considered in this scope.

 

4. Risks:

·      Performance issues in the item-adding functionality due to the increased load on the system from the filtering and searching functionality.

5. Notes 

 

The scope and the provided estimate are based on the anticipation, expectation, and understanding through our discussions and email. If the scope change/additional feature development identified during actual development will be treated as change request.
