Setting Minimum or Maximum Quantity Limits for an Item

Navigate to the Item List:

• Go to Lists > Accounting > Items.

Edit the Item:

• Locate the item for which you want to set quantity restrictions and click Edit next to it.

Set Quantity Limits:

• Go to the Sales/Pricing subtab.
• Use the relevant fields to specify the quantity limits:
• Maximum Quantity: Enter the highest quantity of this item that you want customers to be able to purchase in your web store.
• Minimum Quantity: Enter the lowest quantity of this item that you want customers to be able to purchase in your web store. For instance, if the minimum quantity you wish to sell is three, enter 3. If a customer attempts to enter a quantity lower than this, a warning message will be displayed.

Optional: Enforce Minimum Quantity Internally:

• If you want the minimum quantity limit to apply to sales orders placed within NetSuite as well as those placed in the web store, check the Enforce Minimum Internally box.

Customize Warning Messages (Optional):

• To edit the warning message displayed to customers, go to Commerce > Site Builder > Content > Customize Text.

Save Your Changes:

• Click Save to apply the quantity limits to the item.
