Custom Role Cannot Access Configuration Record

Scenario

A user with custom role cannot access a Configuration record. An error has occurred, Notice(SuiteScript) Error: Only the users with the following permissions: “Documents and Files”, “Website (External) publisher”, “Set Up Domains”, “Set Up Web Site”, “SuiteScript”, “Custom Record Types” can modify the configuration record.

 

Solution

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Custom Role: Click Edit
3. Click Permissions
4. Click Lists
5. Permissions:

Select Documents and Files

• Level: Select Full

Select Website (External) publisher

• Level: Select Full

6.Click Setup

7.Permissions:

• Select Set Up Domains
• Level: Select Full
• Select Set Up Web Site
• Level: Select Full
• Select SuiteScript
• Level: Select Full
• Select Custom Record Types
• Level: Select Full

8. Click Save
